Since leaving Rise, Lexi went on to pursue her dance degree at Western Michigan University, graduating with a BA in Dance and a Minor in Event Planning. During her time at WMU, she also earned her Personal Training Certification, further expanding her passion for movement and wellness. After graduation, she immersed herself in the fitness industry and is currently based at Life Time in River North, where she teaches and coaches a variety of class modalities. In 2022, Lexi returned to Rise Dance Center as an instructor and has also been an active member of DSP 21+ since her return.

The environment that’s been built and nurtured here inspired me to grow, to keep learning, and continues to be a space I love returning to as an instructor. What I’ve always cherished is that even with a competition team, Rise was never just a competition studio, it was a place where we could explore artistry and truly connect with movement. My time at Rise has shaped not only the dancer I am, but the person I’ve become today.”
