Bachelor's of Science Degree

After my time at Rise, I have been working toward my B.S. in Exercise Science, with minors in Dance and Psychology, with the goal of pursuing a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. While in school, I have continued my dance career by performing with the University Dance Company and collaborating with professional choreographers to showcase their work at the University Dance Showcase. I am also a member of the Jayhawk Tap Company, a student-led organization that performs in the University Dance Showcases as well. Currently, I work as a substitute tap dance teacher at the Lawrence Arts Center. In addition to dance, I’m involved in several academic and social organizations. I look forward to continuing to grow in both my academic and dance careers!

“Dancing at Rise was one of the best experiences of my life! I was consistently encouraged to grow and improve, and I was given so many amazing performance opportunities. The community was incredibly supportive and allowed me to form lifelong friendships.”
